St. Patrick's Day is almost here and (luck)ily we've got tips for you. There's lots you can do to celebrate St. Patty's Day in-house (in the safety of your own home)!
1. Green-inspired treats
This is the one day of the year where you can use green ingredients or food colouring to make special St. Patty's Day treats! Try mint milkshakes or mint chocolate chip ice cream. You can even make green cookies using a shamrock cookie cutter and add a festive topper to any snack or dessert. Don't have a sweet tooth? There are tons of other delicious and healthy green food you can incorporate such as avocados, apples, peppers, spinach, jell-o, or cucumbers – have fun and get creative with it!
2. Wear green
This one may seem obvious but be sure to add a touch of green to your look on March 17. It doesn't have to be an entire green look – you can add a green headband, scarf, shoes, or scrunchie to your St. Patty's look. Here's hoping that if you dress the part, the colour green will bring you some good luck this year.
3. Decorate, decorate, decorate
Get festive with your home this year and fill your home with all things green. Try incorporating plants, pillows, blankets, and green décor you have laying around. You can incorporate a little DIY to your home by creating your own Leprechaun art. Pinterest has creative art options for you to explore.
4. Virtual games
You might not be able to see your friends but that doesn't mean you can't try your luck at some games. Gather a group of friends for a virtual game night. Try arranging a St. Patrick's Day-themed scavenger hunt online or a dance party. You don't need to be face-to-face to have a good time with friends. Enjoy St. Patrick's Day and remember to be responsible no matter what you decide to do!
